Snapvent Ventilators have been utilized for years in many different types of vehicles, from boats, to race cars, to light aircraft, as well as helicopters and home-built vehicles, and for use in motorcycle fairings. They provide a controlled source of air circulation in any moving vehicle.
You can install a set of ventilators on each side of a vehicle ( one or more ventilators per side ). Turn the ventilators on one side to the forward position, with the open end or scoop facing front-wards or intake position. Then rotate the ventilators on the other side to the rearward or exhaust position, with the scoop facing the opposite direction. This will create a cross draft through the cabin of the vehicle supplying much needed cooler air for the occupants.
All ventilators requiring a 3 3/16″ or larger hole are injection molded using a proprietary material to give long life and great strength for the part. You can not break one by hand, so do not be afraid to apply pressure to the part when installing it in your vehicle. The smaller A-2-100 part can be damaged and requires more care in handling and installation.
