Our polycarbonate sheet is clear as glass and is 250 times more resistant to breakage. It’s 30 times more impact resistant than acrylic sheet. In the standard sheet we stock from 1/8″ to 1/2″ in thickness. In addition there are also available security Containment Grades, and Bullet Resistant laminates rated up too level V for a .44 magnum.
Polycarbonate sheet will transmit 86% of light. Normal uncoated polycarbonate sheet is the standard grade for general purpose applications and can be used for economical protection against breakage or intrusion. A better insulator than glass, polycarbonate sheet contributes to lower energy costs. It’s the perfect choice for glazing, skylights, store fronts, covered walkways, machine guards, and personal security applications.
